Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad
Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad () is a student organisation in Bangladesh. It was launched on 26 February 2025. The group includes Students Against Discrimination activists as well as Bangladesh Chhatra League, Chhatra League and Jubo League members. Currently its convener is Abu Bakar Mazumdar and member secretary is Jahid Ahsan. The organisation is perceived to be the student wing of the National Citizen Party (NCP), due to the ideological similarities & organisational links between the two. History After Students Against Discrimination and Jatiya Nagorik Committee started to organise a National Citizen Party, new student-led political party, a separate student organisation was planned as the party's student wing. Madhur Canteen
Madhur Canteen () is a familiar name in the history of the University of Dhaka, Dhaka University as well as in the national politics of Bangladesh because of its association with various political movements which originated from the Dhaka University. The canteen's current location holds important architectural and heritage value. Madhusudan Dey (Modhu), the canteen's founder, is an equally important figure in the socio-political history of the region. He was killed on 25 March 1971 at the beginning of the Bangladesh Liberation War. As part of Operation Searchlight, the Pakistan Army 1971 Dhaka University massacre, attacked the Dhaka University. Madhusudan Dey was taken to Jagannath Hall by the Pakistani armed forces, where he was executed along with many university students. The Bangladesh Awami Jubo League () commonly known as the Jubo League, is the first youth organization of Bangladesh founded by Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani. Bangladesh Chhatra League
Bangladesh Chhatra League, simply Chhatra League (), is the student wing of the political party, Bangladesh Awami League, founded by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on 4 January 1948. The organisation is banned and listed as a terrorist organisation in Bangladesh. BCL has been repeatedly accused of committing mass violence including torture, extortion, forced prostitution, killings to instill fear. At least 33 people were killed and 1,500 were seriously injured from attacks by BSL between 2009 and 2014. The number of fatalities rose to 129 between 2014 and 2018 while 31 people were killed in 2018 alone. National Citizen Party (Bangladesh)
The National Citizen Party (NCP; ), is a political party in Bangladesh. Initiated by the Students Against Discrimination and the Jatiya Nagorik Committee, it was established on 28 February 2025 as the first student-led political party in the history of Bangladesh.
