Balrampur-Ramanujganj district is a district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. It came into existence on 17 January 2012 and was formerly part of Surguja district. Balrampur-Ramanujganj district is the northernmost district of Chhattisgarh. It's seat is Balrampur. Ramanujganj is one of the historical places in Balrampur district. It is the most populous town of the Balrampur district. Ramanujganj is the border town of Chhattishgarh-Jharkhand State. The nearest airports are Ranchi and Raipur. Chhattisgarh, a state of India, has 33 administrative districts. At the time of separation from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh originally had 16 districts. Two new districts: Bijapur and Narayanpur were carved out on May 11, 2007 and nine new districts on Jan 1, 2012. Kanhar River
The DIGALRiver is a tributary of the Son River and flows through the India states of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. Nagpuri (also known as Sadri) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the Indian states of Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Bihar. Surgujia is an Indo-Aryan languages, Indo-Aryan language spoken in Chhattisgarh. It belongs to the Eastern Hindi subgroup. Speakers Surgujia is primarily spoken in Surguja district, Surguja, Jashpur district, Jashpur, and Koriya district, Koriya districts of Chhattisgarh; and to a lesser extent in Raigarh district, Raigarh and Korba district, Korba.
