Now Bakırköyspor plays in the Istanbul Super Amateur League, five levels below the Süper Lig. The club finished 8th in the 4th group in 2014-15 and 3rd in the 2nd group in 2015–16 seasons. Iosif Rotariu
Iosif Rotariu (born 27 September 1962) is a Romanian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He debuted in Divizia A with Politehnica Timișoara in 1981. He won the league championship with Steaua București in 1987, 1988, 1989, 1997 and 1998, and won the Romanian Cup with the same club in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1997. He also played abroad, in Turkey and Serbia. Rotariu made his debut for the Romania national team in 1988 against Netherlands, and represented his country at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. Orkun Usak (born November 5, 1980) is a Turkish football goalkeeper who currently plays for Mersin İdmanyurdu SK. He is a product of the youth system of Galatasaray. Fatih Akyel (born 26 December 1977) is a Turkish football manager and former professional player. He played as a defender for clubs such as Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe during his 15-year career. He was capped by the Turkey national team 64 times from 1997 to 2004, and also won a silver medal with the Olympic team at the 1997 Mediterranean Games. Piotr "Peter" Nowak (; born 5 July 1964) is a Polish professional football manager and former player. He was most recently in charge of Ekstraklasa club Jagiellonia Białystok.
