Bedminster, colloquially known as Bemmy, is a district of Bristol, England, on the south side of the city. It is also the name of a council ward which includes the central part of the district. Eastville is an inner suburban neighbourhood and an electoral ward in Bristol, England, located around northeast of The Centre. It is roughly centred on Muller Road between its junctions with Stapleton Road and Fishponds Road. Eastville is known for Eastville Park, a large park with a small lake, just to the east of the M32. The lake at Eastville Park was constructed as an unemployment relief scheme following a campaign by Ernest Bevin. The River Frome flows roughly south-southwest through the neighbourhood, and has been closely shadowed by the M32 motorway since its construction in the early 1970s. Whitehall is a predominantly residential neighbourhood in the east of Bristol, England. It is an informally-defined area centred on Whitehall Road and bordering the neighbourhoods of Crofts End to the north, Speedwell to the east, St George to the south, and Easton and Greenbank to the west. St George, Bristol
St George is a district of Bristol, England on the eastern edge of the city boundary. St George was originally in Gloucestershire, outside the city boundary, and the terminus of the tram line from Bristol was in Beaconsfield Road. It became a civil parish as Bristol St George in 1866, and briefly an urban district from 1894 to 1898. On 1 April 1898 the parish was abolished and merged with Bristol. In 1891 the parish had a population of 36,718. Troopers Hill chimney is a local landmark. Knowle is a district and council ward in south east Bristol, England, lying on the broad ridge of the Wells Road about 2 mi (3 km) from the city centre.
