BK Häcken (women)
Bollklubben Häcken, more commonly known as BK Häcken or simply Häcken (), is a Swedish professional football club based in Gothenburg (Hisingen). It currently plays in Allsvenskan, the top tier of Swedish football. Formed on 2 August 1940, Häcken has played 23 seasons in Allsvenskan, debuting in the league in 1983. The club is affiliated to Gothenburg Football Association and play their home games at Bravida Arena. The club colours, reflected in their crest and kit, are yellow and black. History The beginning The club was started by a group of 14- to 15-year-old youngsters who wanted not just to play football for fun but also to create an organisation and participate in the national league system. Bravida Arena
Nya Rambergsvallen, currently known as Bravida Arena for sponsorship reasons, and as Hisingen Arena for UEFA competitions, is an association football stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. The project was initiated by Allsvenskan side BK Häcken and Gothenburg Municipality to build a new 6,000 to 7,000 capacity stadium in the Hisingen area of Gothenburg, Sweden. History A new stadium in the Hisingen area had been discussed for years time prior to the announcement that BK Häcken and Gothenburg Municipality had agreed. One of the reasons for building a new stadium is the new stadium criteria by the Swedish Football Association which went into effect in 2014. The new stadium is being built on the same site as Häcken's previous stadium Rambergsvallen which it replaced. BK Häcken held the naming rights for the stadium and announced that they would most likely sell them to an external sponsor. Gamla Ullevi (1916)
Gamla Ullevi (, "Old Ullevi") was a football stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. Named Ullevi until 1958 when Nya ("New") Ullevi opened, it was built in 1915–1916 and opened on 17 September 1916 with the game between IFK Göteborg- AB København (2–2). It had a capacity of 15,000 to 18,000, depending on usage. The record attendance is 32,357 and was set 2 May 1957, when Örgryte IS played IF Elfsborg. IF Elfsborg won 2–1. Demolition of Gamla Ullevi began on 9 January 2007 at 11.15 AM local time. The stadium has been replaced with a new football stadium. The new stadium, opened on 5 April 2009, has been named Gamla Ullevi as well. Name Gamla Ullevi was named after the Nordic god Ull. He was a skier and archer who chased away the winter so he could wake up the goddess of the earth. The word ''vi'' means holy place. Kim Källström
Kim Mikael Källström (; born 24 August 1982) is a Swedish former professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. He was noted for his play-making ability and free-kick taking. He started his career at several clubs in Sweden, winning consecutive Allsvenskan titles with Djurgårdens IF Fotboll, Djurgården before moving to France where he represented Stade Rennais, Rennes and Olympique Lyonnais, Lyon. Källström won a range of domestic honours with Lyon and joined FC Spartak Moscow, Spartak Moscow in 2012. He spent the second half of the 2013–14 season on loan at Arsenal F.C., Arsenal, where he won the 2013–14 FA Cup after converting a penalty in the semi-final. Helsingborgs Idrottsförening, commonly referred to as Helsingborgs IF, Helsingborg or (especially locally) HIF (), is a Swedish professional football club located in Helsingborg. Svenska cupen (, ), also known as the Swedish Cup in English, is a knockout cup competition in Swedish football and the main Swedish football cup.
