Bernard-Horner Syndrome
Horner's syndrome, also known as oculosympathetic paresis, is a combination of symptoms that arises when a group of nerves known as the sympathetic trunk is damaged. The signs and symptoms occur on the same side (ipsilateral) as it is a lesion of the sympathetic trunk. It is characterized by miosis (a constricted pupil), partial ptosis (eyelid), ptosis (a weak, droopy eyelid), apparent anhidrosis (decreased sweating), with apparent enophthalmos (inset eyeball). The nerves of the sympathetic trunk arise from the spinal cord in the thorax, chest, and from there ascend to the neck and face. The nerves are part of the sympathetic nervous system, a division of the autonomic nervous system, autonomic (or involuntary) nervous system. Once the syndrome has been recognized, medical imaging and response to particular eye drops may be required to identify the location of the problem and the underlying cause. Bihor County
Bihor County (, ) is a county (județ) in western Romania. With a total area of , Bihor is Romania's 6th largest county geographically and the main county in the historical region of Crișana. Its capital city is Oradea (Nagyvárad). Toponymy The origin of the name Bihor is uncertain, except that it likely takes its name from an ancient fortress in the current commune of Biharia. It possibly came from ''vihor'', the Serbian and Ukrainian word for "whirlwind" (вихор), or Slavic ''biela hora'', meaning "white mountain". Another theory is that Biharea is of Daco-Thracian etymology (''bi'' meaning "two" and ''harati'' "take" or "lead"), possibly meaning two possessions of land in the Duchy of Menumorut (Ménmarót). ''Broadcasting House'' (''BH'') is a current affairs programme produced by BBC News for BBC Radio 4, presented by Paddy O'Connell, with Jonny Dymond regularly appearing as a relief presenter. It was launched on 19 April 1998 and is broadcast every Sunday between 9am and 10am. There used to be a weekly quiz, with a cryptic sound clue pointing to a news event in the last week. The prize was a spoon, originally a jam spoon, but then replaced by a honey spoon. The programme made frequent visits to the "BH beehive" in southwest London. The competition was nominated for a Sony Award in 2007. More serious features include the headlines and current affairs sections, which look at the background to recent news stories. Bihari languages are a group of the Indo-Aryan languages. The Bihari languages are mainly spoken in the Indian states of Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal, and also in Nepal.Brass, Paul R. (1974). Company history 1909-1958 BH Bikes, or BH, is the acronym for Beistegui Hermanos, a company founded in Spain by the brothers Cosme Beistegui, Domingo Beistegui and Juan Beistegui. These individuals founded the company in 1909 in the Gipuzkoan municipality of Éibar, just before the onset of World War I. The company initially manufactured Mauser pistols, but orders slowed under the armistice. The company chose to convert their production chain and begin the manufacturing of bicycles in 1919.
