B.C. Rich
B.C. Rich is an American brand of acoustic and electric guitars and bass guitars. B.C. Rich had its origins in a guitar shop Bernardo Chavez Rico helped run with his father, which initially produced acoustic guitars that became popular amidst the folk music revival. Rico began making electric guitars in the late 1960s and established himself as one of the first boutique electric guitar builders, before releasing production models beginning in 1974. With the shop's name changed to B.C. Rich, Rico grew it into a company known for radical guitar designs that became popular with heavy metal bands beginning in the 1980s. Joseph Anthony Pereira (born September 10, 1950), professionally known as Joe Perry, is an American musician best known as a founding member, guitarist, backing and occasional lead vocalist of the Rock music, rock band Aerosmith. Neil Thomas Giraldo (born December 29, 1955) is an American musician, record producer, arranger, and songwriter best known as the musical partner of Pat Benatar since 1979and spouse since 1982. He has also performed, written and produced for artists including Rick Derringer, John Waite, Rick Springfield, Kenny Loggins, Steve Forbert, The Del-Lords, Scott Kempner, and Beth Hart. Chuck Schuldiner
Charles Michael Schuldiner (May 13, 1967 – December 13, 2001) was an American musician. He cofounded the pioneering Florida death metal band Death in 1983, in which he was the guitarist, primary songwriter and only continuous member until his death in 2001. He became the lead vocalist in 1985 after original drummer and vocalist Kam Lee left the band. His obituary in the January 5, 2002, issue of ''Kerrang!'' described him as "one of the most significant figures in the history of metal." Richard Dean Zehringer (August 5, 1947 – May 26, 2025), known professionally as Rick Derringer, was an American musician, producer and songwriter. He gained success in the 1960s with his band, the McCoys. Their debut single, " Hang On Sloopy", became a number-one hit in 1965 and is regarded as a classic track from the garage rock era. Guild Guitar Company
The Guild Guitar Company is a United States–based guitar manufacturer founded in 1952 by Alfred Dronge, a guitarist and music-store owner. The brand name currently exists as a brand under Córdoba Music Group. In February 2023, The Yamaha Guitar Group acquired Cordoba Music Group. Origin The first Guild workshop was located in Manhattan, New York, where Dronge (who soon took over full ownership) focused on electric and acoustic archtop jazz guitars. Much of the initial workforce consisted of former Epiphone workers who lost their jobs following their 1951 strike and the subsequent relocation of the company from Queens to Philadelphia.
