Arfa Siddiq
Arfa Siddiq Kakar ( ps, عارفه صدیق کاکړه, ur, عارفہ صدیق کاکڑ; born 28 January 1987), also spelled Arifa Siddique, is a politician and human rights activist from the town of Muslim Bagh in northern Balochistan, Pakistan. She is a supporter of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM). From 2013 to 2018, she was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan as a candidate from the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP). She comes from the Kakar tribe of Pashtuns. Early life and education Siddiq was born on 28 January 1987 in Muslim Bagh in the Killa Saifullah District of Balochistan, Pakistan. She has done Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Master of Arts in Political Science. Political career Siddiq was elected to the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan as a candidate of Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PMAP) on a reserved seat for women in 2013 Pakistani general election. Muslim Bagh (Pashto/ ur, مسلم باغ), is a town in Killa Saifullah District, Balochistan, Pakistan. It is located at an altitude of . According to the Census of 1998, the population of Muslim Bagh is 70,361 (male 37,303 and female 33,058), with 10,188 households. Arman Loni
Mohammad Ibrahim Arman Loni ( ps, محمد ابراهیم ارمان لوڼی), commonly known as Arman Loni (or Arman Luni), was a teacher of Pashto literature, poet, and one of the founding leaders of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM). Arman died on 2 February 2019 after a clash with the police, which followed his participation at a protest sit-in outside Loralai Press Club. The four-day sit-in had been organized by PTM activists, including Arman and his sister Wranga Loni, to protest against the 2019 Loralai attack, in which eight policemen and a civilian had been killed by the Pakistani Taliban on 29 January 2019. His family and PTM activists said that as the police attacked him and other activists, a policeman struck Arman on the head with a gun, causing him to collapse.
