Annabel Jones
Annabel Jones (born January 1972) is a Welsh television producer, best known for producing ''Black Mirror'' with Charlie Brooker. She is a co-writer of the 2018 book ''Inside Black Mirror'', with Brooker and Jason Arnopp. Jones is co-founder of the production company Broke and Bones, alongside Brooker. Early life Jones was born in January 1972 and grew up in Milford Haven, Wales. She began studying developmental economics at the London School of Economics in 1990. After graduating in 1994, she worked for television production companies in Soho, London. Career Jones became an executive at the production company Endemol. She began working with Charlie Brooker at the production company Zeppotron, owned by the Endemol, on five series of ''Charlie Brooker's Screenwipe'' (2006–2008), the first two series of the science fiction anthology series ''Black Mirror'' (2011 and 2013) and the satirical police procedural ''A Touch of Cloth'' (2012–2014). Black Mirror
''Black Mirror'' is a British anthology television series created by Charlie Brooker. Individual episodes explore a diversity of genres, but most are set in near-future dystopias with science fiction technology—a type of speculative fiction. The series is based on ''The Twilight Zone'' and uses technology to comment on contemporary social issues. Most episodes are written by Brooker, with heavy involvement by the executive producer Annabel Jones. There are 22 episodes across five series and one special, in addition to the interactive film '' Black Mirror: Bandersnatch'' (2018). The first two series aired on the British network Channel 4 in 2011 and 2013, as did the 2014 special " White Christmas". ''Dead Set'' is a British zombie horror miniseries written and created by Charlie Brooker and directed by Yann Demange. The show takes place primarily on the set of a fictional series of the real television show '' Big Brother''. The five episodes, aired over five consecutive nights, chronicle a zombie outbreak that strands the housemates and production staff inside the ''Big Brother'' House, which quickly becomes a shelter from the undead. ''Dead Set'' is a production of Zeppotron, part of the Endemol group of production and distribution companies that produces the actual ''Big Brother''. "USS Callister" is the first episode of the fourth series of the dystopian anthology series ''Black Mirror''. Written by series creator Charlie Brooker and William Bridges and directed by Toby Haynes, it first aired on Netflix, along with the rest of series four, on 29 December 2017. "San Junipero" is the fourth episode in the third series of the British science fiction anthology television series ''Black Mirror''. Written by series creator and showrunner Charlie Brooker and directed by Owen Harris, it premiered on Netflix on 21 October 2016, with the rest of series three. ''Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe'' is a British television review programme created and presented by Charlie Brooker. It is the most recent addition to Brooker's ''Wipe'' series, and the first to be broadcast in HD. The programme is an amalgam of the earlier ''Wipe'' series, with reviews of current television programmes, news events, games, and films. The programme was commissioned by the BBC in November 2012, with six episodes ordered. It began airing on 31 January 2013, and was broadcast on BBC Two. Two more series followed in 2014 and 2015.
