Andy Desmond
Andy Desmond, now known as Miten, (born in August 1947 in Woking, Surrey) is a British musician known throughout the Yoga and Alternative Healing community for his songs of redemption and transformation. He travels creating meditative evenings of mantra and song to millions of devotees around the world. Background Desmond founded the folk/rock duo Gothic Horizon with musical partner Richard Garrett in the late 1960s. The band released two albums on UK Argo : ''The Jason Lodge Poetry Book'' ( 1971 ) and ''Tomorrow's Another Day'' (1972 ) In 1973, Desmond began performing solo and became part of a stable of folk musicians which included Tom Robinson, Claire Hamill and Café Society, who were signed by Ray Davies to his record label Konk Records. Deva Premal
Deva Premal (born 2 April 1970 in Nürnberg, Germany, as Jolantha Fries) is a singer known for introducing Sanskrit mantras into the mainstream. Her meditative, spiritual music — composed and produced with Prabhu Music — puts ancient Tibetan and Sanskrit mantras into contemporary settings. Her album '' Deva'' (2018) received a Grammy Award nomination for Best New Age Album for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards. Biography Premal met her partner in life and music, Miten, at the Osho International Meditation Resort in Pune, India in 1990, where she was studying reflexology, shiatsu, cranio-sacral therapy, and massage. They have been touring together since 1992, offering concerts and chant workshops worldwide. Best known for her top-selling chant CDs, Premal is a classically trained musician who grew up singing mantras in a German home permeated with Eastern spirituality. Anthony Robbins
Anthony Jay Robbins (né Mahavoric, born February 29, 1960) is an American author, coach, speaker, and philanthropist. He is known for his infomercials, seminars, and self-help books including the books ''Unlimited Power'' and ''Awaken the Giant Within''. Early life Robbins was born Anthony J. Mahavoric in North Hollywood, California, on February 29, 1960. Robbins is the eldest of three children, and his parents divorced when he was seven. He is of Croatian heritage from both sides of his family. His mother then remarried several times, including a marriage with Jim Robbins, a former semi-professional baseball player who legally adopted Anthony when he was 12. Robbins attended Glendora High School. During high school, Robbins grew ten inches in a year, a growth spurt later attributed to a pituitary tumor.
