Andrew Considine
Andrew MacLaren Considine (born 1 April 1987) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone. He played over 550 times for Aberdeen across 18 years, ranking among the players with most appearances in their history, and three times for the Scotland national team. Considine left Aberdeen after the 2021–22 season and signed for St Johnstone. Club career Aberdeen Considine had the option of signing for Rangers as a youngster, but decided to sign for Aberdeen as he felt he had more chance of breaking into their first team. He made his professional debut in May 2004 in a 2–1 defeat to Dundee, making his second appearance at the end of the following season. Dens Park, officially known as Kilmac Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Dundee, Scotland, which is the home of club Dundee F.C. and has a capacity of . Tannadice Park, the home of rivals Dundee United, is just 200 yards (183 metres) away. History Dundee moved to "Dens" from their first stadium at Carolina Port in 1899. Following Dundee's successful league campaign during the 1998–99 season, Dens park had to be redeveloped to adhere to the new Scottish Premier League seat-capacity guidelines. Dundee were therefore required to redevelop the East and West terraces. Barr Stadium Construction were charged with the task of removing the existing concrete terraces and the construction of two 3,000-seat stands. Baccara
Baccara was a female vocal duo formed in 1977 by Spanish artists Mayte Mateos (born 7 February 1951) and María Mendiola (4 April 1952 – 11 September 2021). The duo rapidly achieved international success with their debut single "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie", which reached number one across much of Europe and became the best-selling single of all-time by a female group, eventually selling more than 18 million copies worldwide. A successful follow-up single ("Sorry, I'm a Lady") and European tour led to a number of album releases, numerous television appearances and the duo's selection to represent Luxembourg in the ''Eurovision Song Contest 1978''. "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" is a 1977 hit single by the Spanish vocal duo Baccara. Written by Frank Dostal and Rolf Soja, and produced by Soja, this song was a hit across Europe and became the duo's sole number one single in the United Kingdom, spending a single week at the top of the UK Singles Chart in October 1977. Baccara were Spanish flamenco dancers Mayte Mateos and Maria Mendiola. Doug Considine
Doug Considine (born 15 May 1957) is a Scottish former footballer. As a squad player he was a Scottish League winner at Aberdeen in 1980. A year later in 1981 he moved to Dunfermline Athletic in pursuit of first team football. Two seasons later he retired as a footballer aged 26. Playing career Doug Considine was born in Edinburgh in 1957. He joined Aberdeen from Highland League club Huntly in 1978 and spent three seasons at Pittodrie, where he was part of the team which won the Scottish Premier Division in 1980, playing fifteen times in the league that season. He left Aberdeen in 1981 to join Dunfermline, where he remained until 1983, when he retired aged 26. Ronnie Simpson
Ronald Campbell Simpson (11 October 1930 – 19 April 2004) was a Scottish football player and coach. He is mainly remembered for his time with Celtic, where he was the goalkeeper in the ''Lisbon Lions'' team that won the European Cup in 1967. Earlier in his career, Simpson had won the FA Cup twice with Newcastle United. He also played for Queen's Park, Third Lanark and Hibernian. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
