Amadeo, officially the Municipality of Amadeo ( tgl, Bayan ng Amadeo), is a 4th class municipality in the province of Cavite, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 41,901 people. Etymology The town got its name after King Amadeo I of Spain. Amadeo ( it, Amedeo , sometimes latinized as Amadeus; full name: ''Amedeo Ferdinando Maria di Savoia''; 30 May 184518 January 1890) was an Italian prince who reigned as King of Spain from 1870 to 1873.
