The Allyn Range is a mountain range in New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Barrington Tops region and joins the Mount Royal Range on the Barrington Tops plateau to the north. High points on the range include Eremeren Point, Ben Bullen, Mount Gunama, Mount Lumeah and Mount Allyn.1:25,000 topographic map "Barrington Tops" The range is heavily forested and much of it is a wilderness area covered in Antarctic Beech cool temperate rainforest. Allyn-Grapeview is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Mason County, Washington, United States. At the 2010 census, the CDP was separated into Allyn and Grapeview. The combined 2010 population of the two new CDPs was 2,917. The community-based monthly newspaper called the ''North Bay Review'', services the Allyn-Grapeview area. Allyn's main road and thoroughfare is State Route 3 with Grapeview connected to Route 3 via Grapeview Loop Road. Grapeview is home to a small Puget Sound Maritime Museum, and the Fair HarboMarina Geography Allyn-Grapeview is located on the western shore of North Bay region of Puget Sound's Case Inlet. Jerri Allyn is an American feminist performance, installation artist and educator based in Los Angeles, California. Biography Allyn earned an M.A. in Art and Community from Goddard College in 1978 and also attended The Feminist Studio Workshop at the Los Angeles Woman's Building from 1978-1978. Allyn was active in the feminist art movement, co-founding multiple feminist performance groups in the 1970s and 1980s. The first of these was "The Waitresses," co-founded with Anne Gauldin in 1977. All of the members of the group were waitresses, and through their often comedic performances, they explored the cultural perception of women as nurturers as well as what labor conditions were like for women in the service industry. Eunice Gibbs Allyn (, Gibbs; pen names, (multiple); 1847 – June 30, 1916) was an American correspondent, author, songwriter, illustrator, and painter. She intended to become a teacher, but her mother dissuaded her so she remained at home, entering into society, and writing in a quiet way for the local papers while using various pen names in order to avoid displeasing one of her brothers, who did not wish to have a "bluestocking" in the family. Edna Isabel Allyn (April 5, 1861 – June 7, 1927) was the first librarian of the Hawaii State Library. Early life and education Allyn was born on April 15, 1861, in Wellington, Ohio. Allyn graduated from Hiram College in 1882 and became a public schoolteacher. She then earned a master's degree in Latin from Columbia University in 1902. After working in the Iowa State Industrial School's library, Allyn decided to study library science at Western Reserve University in 1905. After completing her education, she became the librarian of the Brooklyn sub-branch of the Cleveland Public Library. Hawaii Allyn became the librarian of the Honolulu Library and Reading Room Association, a subscription library, in 1907. David Allyn (born April 30, 1969) is an American author, educator, and consultant to nonprofit organizations. He is the former CEO of the nonprofit organization Oliver Scholars. Personal life Allyn is the stepson of the late John Wallach, founder of the nonprofit organization Seeds of Peace. Allyn graduated from the Georgetown Day School in Washington, D.C.
