Aimée Classen
Aimée Classen is an American ecologist who studies the impact of global changes on a diverse array of terrestrial ecosystems. Her work is notable for its span across ecological scales and concepts, and the diversity of terrestrial ecosystems that it encompasses, including forests, meadows, bogs, and tropics in temperate and boreal climates. She is currently the director of the University of Michigan's Biological Station (UMBS), a student and faculty research organization at the university devoted to studying various types of environmental change. Classen is editor-in-chief of the Ecological Society of America (ESA) journal ''Ecological Monographs''. Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory
The Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory (also known by its acronym RMBL — pronounced 'rumble') is a high-altitude biological field station located near Crested Butte, in the abandoned mining town of Gothic, Colorado in the West Elk Mountains. John Harte (scientist)
John Harte (born July 8, 1939) is an ecologist and Professor of the Graduate School in the Energy and Resources Group at the University of California at Berkeley. His work includes investigation into a maximum entropy theory of ecology and long-term experiments on the effects of climate change on alpine ecology. Academic career Harte received his B.A. from Harvard University in 1961 and his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin in 1965. He was an Assistant Professor of Physics at Yale University from 1968-1973.
