Agatha, Stop That Murdering!
''Agatha, Stop That Murdering!'' (German: ''Agatha, laß das Morden sein!'') is a 1960 West German comedy crime film directed by Dietrich Haugk and starring Johanna von Koczian, Klausjürgen Wussow and Elisabeth Flickenschildt. It is a parody both of the ongoing film series of Edgar Wallace adaptations but also the traditions of the mystery novels of Agatha Christie. The film's sets were designed by the art directors Franz Bi and Bruno Monden. It was shot at the Bavaria Studios in Munich. Plot A famous female crime novelist goes to stay in a country house, where a killer is on the loose. Dietrich Haugk
Dietrich Haugk (12 May 1925 – 28 June 2015) was a German film director and voice actor. He was born in Ellrich/Harz, Germany. He made his stage debut at a theater in Bielefeld in 1946 and has been a noted theater director since 1949 and served as the German dubbing voice of Vittorio Gassman, Dirk Bogarde, Montgomery Clift and Jean-Louis Trintignant. Married four times to actresses, he has three children, a son from his first and a son and a daughter from his fourth marriage. He died in Berlin. He was married four times and had three children. Karl Lieffen (17 May 1926 – 13 January 1999), born Karel František Lifka, was a German film actor. He appeared in more than 140 films on screen and television between 1949 and 1998. He was born in Ossegg (Osek), Czechoslovakia and attended drama classes at Brunswick and the Heer School of Music in Bückeburg. In 1946 he started his theatre career in Freiburg followed by engagements at the Hessian State Theatre in Wiesbaden, the Munich Kammerspiele and the Opern- und Schauspielhaus Frankfurt. Wolfgang Kieling (16 March 1924 – 7 October 1985) was a German actor. Biography In films since childhood in his native Germany, Kieling appeared in a few American films, notably in Alfred Hitchcock's ''Torn Curtain'' (1966), where he played Gromek, an East German agent brutally slain by Paul Newman's character. Bavaria Studios are film production studios located in Munich, the capital of the region of Bavaria in Germany, and a subsidiary of Bavaria Film.
