Adrian Wilson (artist)
Adrian Wilson (born 1964) is a British artist and photographer based in New York. Biography Early Digital Art Career Wilson studied HND Design (photography) from 1984-1986 at Blackpool and The Fylde College, where, according to Digital Art historian Grant Taylor, he was one of the first photographers to specialize in digital image manipulation. Aly Ray Smith believes Wilson was the first photographer who specialized in creating images using a $250,000 digital paint system known as a Quantel Paintbox which was launched nine years before Adobe Photoshop. Wilson created one of the earliest photographic memes and was included in the international "Art & Computers" exhibition at Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art in 1988. The Museum of Art and Photography (MAP) is a private art museum based in Bangalore, India that is a custodian to a collection of Indian art, textiles, photography, craft, and design objects spanning from the twelfth century to the present. MAP opened its doors to the public on 18th February, 2023 as a private art museum. In December 2020, MAP launched a digital museum, that offers a virtual interactive experience to viewers. Collections MAP has more than 20,000 artworks, predominantly from the Indian subcontinent in its collection that are organised into six departments: Modern and Contemporary Art, Photography, Living Traditions, Popular Culture, Pre-Modern Art and Textiles, Craft and Design. Jean-Michel Basquiat (; December 22, 1960 – August 12, 1988) was an American artist who rose to success during the 1980s as part of the Neo-expressionism movement. The Boring Company (TBC) is an American infrastructure and tunnel construction services company founded by Elon Musk. Its ongoing and proposed projects are designed for intra-city ("loop") transit systems. After six years TBC has completed one out of six publicly announced projects. The only operational one is situated inside the Las Vegas convention center (LVCC) and operates on limited days for loop travel during conventions. It connects the LVCC West Hall to the existing campus over a stretch of 1.7 miles with an average speed of 30mph in non-autonomous regular Tesla 3 cars that are steered by an driver, despite promised to have 150mph average speeds and autonomous "sleek custom pods". Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is a further and higher education college in Blackpool, Lancashire, England.
