Adebola Williams
Adebola Williams (born 1986) is a Nigerian media entrepreneur, journalist, political consultant, and motivational speaker. He is the Group CEO of RED , For Africa. He co-founded and runs Red Africa, Africa's largest portfolio of youth media brands which include Red Media Africa, Statecraft Inc., The Future Awards Africa, and YNaija. His career in media and television began at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) with advocacy for youth, and, eventually good governance. Described as "the man with the golden touch" by Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo, he was profiled by ''Forbes'' as the man who helped elect a trifecta of presidents in Africa. Muhammadu Buhari (born 17 December 1942) is a Nigerian politician and current president of Nigeria since 2015. Buhari is a retired Nigerian Army major general who served as the country's military head of state from 31 December 1983 to 27 August 1985, after taking power in a military coup d'état. The term Buharism is ascribed to the authoritarian policies of his military regime. Buhari ran for president of Nigeria in 2003, 2007, and 2011. ''P.M. News'' is a daily newspaper published in Lagos, Nigeria, by the Independent Communications Network Limited (ICNL). The company also publishes the weekly ''TheNEWS'' magazine and ''Tempo'', a tabloid. ''The News'' was founded in 1993 by Bayo Onanuga, Babafemi Ojudu and other former staff from the ''African Concord'' who had resigned in protest over a request by M. K. O. Young African Leaders Initiative
The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is an initiative of the United States Department of State. It was begun in 2010 by President Barack Obama. YALI is a programme aimed at educating and networking young African leaders with activities including the Mandela Washington Fellowship that brings them to study in the United States for six weeks, with follow-up resources, and student exchange programs. In 2014, the program was expanded to include four regional "leadership centers" in Ghana, Kenya, Senegal and South Africa. 500 participants in the Mandela Washington Fellowship arrived in the United States on June 16, 2014. The European Parliament (EP) is one of the legislative bodies of the European Union and one of its seven institutions.
