Adamu Waziri
Adamu Maina Waziri (born 14 September 1952) was appointed Nigerian minister of Police Affairs on 6 April 2010, when Acting President Goodluck Jonathan announced his new cabinet. Waziri was born in Yobe State on 14 September 1952. He earned a BSc and an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He became a lecturer at the University of Maiduguri in 1979. Positions in private industry included Executive Director, Hydro Quest Nigeria and Chief Executive, Bogaru International. In the government, he served on the Students Loans Board, Federal Ministry of Education, and was Special Assistant to the Minister of Agriculture, Senior Special Assistant to the President, Coordinator of the National Poverty Eradication program and Chairman of the Road Safety Commission. Dr. Ibrahim Yakubu Lame (10 February 1953 – 25 May 2019) was a Nigerian educator and politician, who was elected as senator in 1992 during the Third Republic, appointed Senior Special Assistant to President Olusegun Obasanjo in August 1999, and appointed Minister of Police Affairs by President Umaru Yar'Adua in December 2008. Yobe is a state located in northeastern Nigeria. A mainly agricultural state, it was created on 27 August 1991. Yobe State was carved out of Borno State. The capital of Yobe State is Damaturu; and it's largest and most populated city is Potiskum. Umaru Musa Yar'Adua (16 August 19515 May 2010) was a Nigerian politician who, was the President of Nigeria from 2007 to 2010. He was declared the winner of the Nigerian presidential election held on 21 April 2007, and was sworn in on 29 May 2007.
