Abdel Rahman Zuabi
Abdel Rahman Zuabi ( ar, عبدالرحمن زعبي, he, עבד אל-רחמן זועבי; November 19, 1932 – September 12, 2014) (also Abd-er-Rahman Zoabi) was an Arab citizen of Israel, Israeli Arab judge. In 1999, he served as an Israeli Supreme Court justice. Biography Abdel Rahman Zuabi was born in Sulam, a village in northern Israel near Afula. He studied law at the Tel Aviv School of Law and Economics (which would later become the law faculty of Tel Aviv University and completed his studies in 1958, becoming the first Arab to graduate from the institution. He was granted a license to practice law in 1960 and joined the law office of Moshe Amar. He worked as a lawyer in Haifa and Nazareth until 1978, when he was appointed a judge on the Nazareth District Court. He was a member of the Shamgar Commission, which investigated the 1994 Cave of the Patriarchs massacre in 1994. The Supreme Court (, ''Beit HaMishpat HaElyon''; ar, المحكمة العليا) is the Supreme court, highest court in Israel. It has ultimate appellate jurisdiction over all other courts, and in some cases original jurisdiction. George Karra
George Karra (, ; born 29 May 1952) is an Israeli Arab jurist who served as a judge on the Supreme Court of Israel. Biography George Karra was born to one of the most distinguished Arab Christian families in Jaffa, one of four children. He has three daughters. Karra studied at Terra Sancta primary school and Eshkolot high school in Jaffa. In 1973, he completed his law degree at Tel Aviv University, and opened his own law office in 1975. Karra was in private practice until 1989, when he was appointed a judge on the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court. After 11 years, he was promoted to the Tel Aviv District Court. He was appointed a senior court judge in 2010. Karra was the judge who convicted Israeli President Moshe Katsav of rape. In another high-profile case, he convicted Ofer Nimrodi of illegal wiretapping. In 2011, he was nominated as a candidate for the Supreme Court of Israel. Salim Jubran
Salim Joubran ( ar, سليم جبران, he, סלים ג'ובראן; born 1947) is a former judge of the Supreme Court of Israel. He served as a Supreme Court justice from 2003, and became a permanent member in May 2004. Joubran is of Christianity in Israel, Christian Maronites in Israel, Maronite heritage and affiliated with the Arab Christian community. Joubran is sometimes described as the first Arab to receive a ''permanent'' appointment in the Israeli Supreme Court.
