Alderney ( ; ; ) is the northernmost of the inhabited Channel Islands. It is part of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, a British Crown Dependencies, Crown dependency. It is long and wide. The Saab 340 is a Swedish twin-engine turboprop aircraft designed and initially produced by Saab AB and Fairchild Aircraft. It is designed to seat 30–36 passengers and, as of July 2018, there were 240 operational aircraft used by 34 different operators. The Britten-Norman Trislander (more formally designated the BN-2A Mk III Trislander) is a trimotor, three-engined piston engine, piston-powered utility aircraft designed and produced by the British aircraft manufacturer Britten-Norman.
