Fotbal Club Unirea Urziceni, commonly known as Unirea Urziceni (), was a Romanian professional Association football, football Club (organization), club based in Urziceni, Ialomița County. Unirea became Divizia A Final Tables, national champions in 2009, at the end of their 2008–09 Liga I, third season in the Liga I, top-flight. The club was founded in 1954, and spent the majority of its history in the lower tiers of the Romanian league system. In 2006 they reached Liga I for the first time, and received national praise for their results at this level. At the end of their second season in the top division they earned qualification to Europe, and one year later they claimed the domestic title. In 2010, the team's owner withdrew financial support and Urziceni was forced to sell most of its players to pay debts, leading to relegation at the end of the 2010–11 Liga I, 2010–11 season. Stadionul Tineretului (Urziceni)
The Tineretului Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Urziceni, Romania. It is currently used mostly for association football, football matches and is the home ground of FC Urziceni. The stadium is not very big, having a floodlighting system, with a density of 1400 lux, that has been inaugurated in 2007 but it does not meets UEFA's conditions to host UEFA Champions League matches. For this reason, Unirea had to play their home matches in the 2009–10 UEFA Champions League, 2009–2010 edition on the Steaua Stadium. In English "tineretului" means "of/to the youth", while "Unirea" is translated as "The Union". In the autumn of 2014 there were some hooligans that vandalized the stadium. In the 26th of August 2017 a match between FC Urziceni and Abatorul Slobozia was played for the first time ever since the Tineretului been renovated from the vandalization from the autumn of 2014. The 2002–03 Divizia C season was the 47th season of Divizia C, the third tier of the Romanian football league system. Starting next season, Divizia B will consist of three groups of sixteen teams, while Divizia C will feature nine groups of fourteen teams each. The top two teams from each Divizia C group, along with the four best 3rd-placed teams (a total of 20 teams), will earn promotion. 2009–10 UEFA Champions League
The 2009–10 UEFA Champions League was the 55th season of Europe's premier club football tournament organised by UEFA, and the 18th under the current UEFA Champions League format. The final was played on 22 May 2010 at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, Spain, the first time the final was played on a Saturday. The final was won by Italian club Inter Milan, who beat German side Bayern Munich 2–0. Dan Petrescu
Daniel "Dan" Vasile Petrescu (; born 22 December 1967) is a Romanian football manager and former player who is currently in charge of Liga I club CFR Cluj. As a player, Petrescu was deployed as a full-back or a winger and began his career at Steaua București, with which he played in the 1989 European Cup final. Abroad, he represented Serie A clubs Foggia and Genoa, before moving to the Premier League where he played for Sheffield Wednesday, Chelsea, Bradford City, and Southampton, respectively. With Chelsea, Petrescu won the 1998 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Stadionul Național (; "The National Stadium") was a multi-purpose stadium in Bucharest, Romania. The stadium held 60,120 people. Fotbal Club Bihor Oradea (), commonly known as Bihor Oradea or simply as FC Bihor, was a Romanian professional Association football, football club based in Oradea, Bihor County. It was founded under the name of ''Crișul Oradea'' in April 1958 and from 1963 it continued the football tradition of the city, following the dissolution of Club Atletic Oradea.
