Avenida España (Trujillo)
España Avenue is one of the main vias in the Peruvian city of Trujillo located on the north coast of Peru. This avenue was built in an elliptical shape in the footsteps of the ancient wall of Trujillo and it surrounds the Historic Centre of Trujillo. This avenue hosts shopping centers and several companies. Having elliptical shape your journey begins and ends at the same point, if the tour starts in the west, on Larco Avenue, to scroll through any of the lanes of the avenue will end the tour at the same starting point. Trujillo (; ; Mochica language, Mochica: ''Cɥimor'') is a city in coastal northwestern Peru and the capital of the Department of La Libertad. Larco Avenue () is a major avenue in the district of Miraflores, an affluent district in Lima, Peru. It originates at the Óvalo de Miraflores, a roundabout in the center of the district, and runs south, towards Avenida Armendariz and the pier. Wall Of Trujillo
The Wall of Trujillo was a Peruvian defensive edification built in the 17th century to protect Trujillo city against attacks from pirates and privateers. Constructed by Viceroy Melchor de Navarra y Rocafull between 1687 and 1690, it surrounded the current historic centre of the city and included 15 bastions and five gates. It was torn down towards the end of 19th century to allow the construction of new neighborhoods as the city expanded. Some sections of the wall can still be seen today, including parts that have been restored in ''El Recreo Square'' at the end of Pizarro Street in the historic center, which is now a public area. Historic Centre Of Trujillo
The Historic Centre of Trujillo is the historic city centre of the city of Trujillo, located in northern Peru. Located in the central part of the city, it is surrounded by Spain Avenue, which was paved over the former city walls that gave it the name of Cercado de Trujillo. It was declared a '' Monumental City'' through a Municipal Decree on , later becoming a ''Monumental Zone'' through a Supreme Decree (2900-72-ED) on . Founded on by Diego de Almagro, it was the first city of the Viceroyalty of Peru to successfully declare independence from the Spanish Empire in late 1820. Plazuela El Recreo
The Plazuela El Recreo is a traditional square located in the Peruvian city of Trujillo in La Libertad Region in northern Peru. Situated at the 8th block of the Pizarro street in the Historic Centre of Trujillo in this square are held cultural shows and in March 2012 was the scenery of Trujillo Book Festival. The square has high ficus around. This square has been declared Monumental Heritage of the Nation by the National Institute of Culture of Peru. Huanchaco is a popular seaside resort city in province of Trujillo, Peru. Huanchaco is known for its surf breaks, its caballitos de totora and its ceviche, and is near the ancient ruins of Chan Chan.
