Avengers Next
A-Next is a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. It is the Marvel Comics 2 universe version of the Avengers. The team made its first appearance in '' What If?'' #105, the first comic featuring Spider-Girl, and the team's origin story was told in ''A-Next'' #1 (Oct. 1998). Publication history The first issue of ''A-Next'' paid homage to ''The Avengers'' #1, with an Asgardian menace prompting new superheroes to band together, all of them analogues to the original team. Future stories introduced new heroes and villains, most of them based on pre-existing Marvel characters. Characters and story elements created by DeFalco in the comic were used in other comics in the MC2 Universe. A five issue miniseries entitled ''Avengers Next'' ran from November 2006 to January 2007, written by Tom DeFalco and with artwork by Ron Lim, that followed on from the events of ''Last Hero Standing'' and ''Last Planet Standing''. Captain America is a superhero created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby who appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appeared in '' Captain America Comics'' #1, published on December 20, 1940, by Timely Comics, a corporate predecessor to Marvel. Captain America's civilian identity is Steven "Steve" Rogers, a frail man enhanced to the peak of human physical perfection by an experimental " super-soldier serum" after joining the United States Army to aid the country's efforts in World War II. Scott Koblish
Scott Koblish ( ) was born on May 28, 1970, in upstate New York, and has hundreds of comics credits at both Marvel Comics and DC Comics. Education Scott Koblish attended The Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphic Art when he was nine years old. He graduated from The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan with a BFA in Cartooning and Illustration. Bibliography Scott Koblish began working at Marvel Comics through an apprentice program called the Romita Raiders in 1993. By summer ’93, he was working freelance as an inker, and for the next 15 years he inked hundreds of comics such as G.I. Al Milgrom
Allen L. Milgrom (born March 6, 1950) is an American comic book artist (penciller and inker), writer, and editor, primarily for Marvel Comics. He is known for his 10-year run as editor of '' Marvel Fanfare''; his long involvement as writer, penciler, and inker on '' Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man''; his four-year tenure as ''West Coast Avengers'' penciller; and his long stint as the inker of ''X-Factor''. Brett Breeding
Brett Breeding (June 13, 1961) is an American comic book artist who was active in the industry in the 1980s and 1990s, primarily as an inker. He is most well known for his work on the DC Comics character Superman. A freelancer, Breeding worked for both DC and Marvel Comics during his career, penciling covers and stories in various comics, but mostly focusing on "finish inking" over breakdown layouts. Breeding has worked extensively with pencilers Ron Frenz and Dan Jurgens, and is a co-creator of the Doomsday character, as well as Shadowdragon, Saviour, and Blaze and Satanus. Biography Early career Breeding got his first professional comics work three months after graduating high school in 1979 as Bob Layton's background assistant. Vision (Marvel Comics)
The Vision is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by Roy Thomas and artist John Buscema, the character first appeared in ''Avengers (comic book), The Avengers'' #57 (published in August 1968). The Vision is loosely based on the Timely Comics Vision (Timely Comics), character of the same name who was an alien from another dimension.
