Atlético Clube da Malveira is a Portuguese association football, football club located in Mafra, Portugal, that currently plays in the Lisbon Football Association, AF Lisboa 1st Division, in the fifth tier. History AC da Malveira was formed in 1940 from the merger of Grupo Desportivo Recreativo Os Malveirenses and Orquestra Típica da Malveira. For the 2022–23 season, Belenenses SAD who will play in the second tier Liga Portugal 2 after being relegated from the top tier Primeira Liga, reached an agreement to use Malveira's Estádio das Seixas as their home ground. Mafra () is a city and a municipality in the Lisbon District, district of Lisbon, on the west coast of Portugal, and part of the urban agglomeration of the Grande Lisboa, Greater Lisbon subregion. The population in 2011 was 76,685, in an area of 291.66 km2. It is mostly known for the sumptuous Mafra National Palace inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
