Atlético Angelópolis
The Club Atlético Angelópolis was a Mexican football club based in Puebla City. The club was founded in 2020, and played in the Serie B of Liga Premier. History The team was founded in October 2020 as Atlético Rivadavia, having its field in San Pedro Cholula, a municipality belonging to the Puebla metro area. Originally, the team participated in alternate leagues to those organized by the Mexican Football Federation. In 2022, the team began procedures to join the FMF, finally in July the club was accepted into the Liga Premier de México, being placed in Serie B, for which it began to compete in professional soccer in Mexico. The team announced Óscar Rojas as its first manager. Liga Premier is a professional association football league in Mexico and the third level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Segunda División de México (1950–2017). San Pedro Cholula is a municipalities of Puebla, municipality in the List of states of Mexico, Mexican state of Puebla and one of two municipalities which made up the Cholula, Puebla, city of Cholula. Óscar Adrián Rojas Castillón (born 2 August 1981) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played as a right-back. Club career Rojas was trained in América's youth system and made his debut in the Invierno 2001 season against Celaya. Rojas was part of the 2002 América team that won the championship, although Rojas only played two games. After 2 seasons of little activity with América, he was transferred to San Luis where he became an instant starter. Rojas played 4 seasons with San Luis until San Luis was relegated. Club de Fútbol Lobos de la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla were a Mexican football club based in Puebla, Mexico. The club represented the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla. The club's history goes back to the early 1930s when it was known as Preparatoria, formed exclusively by players who attended the university. The club has played on and off since then. It was not until the 1990s when the club made a serious comeback after playing in the lower levels of Mexican football.
