Atanasije Jevtić
Atanasije Jevtić (Serbian Cyrillic: Атанасије Јевтић; 8 January 1938 – 4 March 2021) was a Serbian Orthodox prelate who served as the bishop of Banat from 1991 until 1992, and the bishop of Zahumlje and Herzegovina from 1992 until his retirement in 1999. Atanasije was a long-time professor and former dean of the Orthodox Theological Faculty of the University of Belgrade. He was a leading expert on Patristics and has written a series of books on the subject. Together with bishop Amfilohije Radović, Atanasije translated the Deuterocanonical books of the Old Testament to Serbian language. His Grace and Her Grace are English Style (manner of address), styles of address used with high-ranking personages, and was the style for English monarchs until Henry VIII (r. 1509–1547), and for Scottish monarchs until the Act of Union (1707), Act of Union of 1707, which Union of the Crowns, united the Kingdom of Scotland and the Kingdom of England. The Eparchy of Bačka () is an eparchy (diocese) of the Serbian Orthodox Church in the Bačka region, Serbia. It is situated in north-western parts of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, and the seat of the eparchy is at Saint George's Cathedral in Novi Sad. History During the middle ages, old counties of Bács and Bodrog belonged to the Kingdom of Hungary, that had ambivalent attitudes towards the presence of Eastern Orthodox Christianity in its southern and eastern regions, depending on political relations with the Byzantine Empire, and medieval Serbia. Irinej Bulović (born Mirko Bulović; 11 February 1947) is a Serbian Orthodox cleric who was elected Bishop of Bačka in 1990. He serves as а professor of the New Testament exegesis and Greek language on the Faculty of Theology of the University of Belgrade. The Metropolitanate of Dabar-Bosnia () is a Metropolis (religious jurisdiction), metropolis of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Episcopal see, seated in Sarajevo. Valjevo (Serbian Cyrillic: Ваљево, ) is a List of cities in Serbia, city and the administrative center of the Kolubara District in western Serbia.
