Atagün Yalçınkaya
Atagün Yalçınkaya (born December 14, 1986) is a Turkish boxer in the bantamweight (54 kg) division best known for winning the silver medal in the light-flyweight category at the 2004 Olympics. Amateur Yalçınkaya started boxing from a young age and won six titles in the schoolboy and cadet categories in Turkey. He was successful as a teenager at international tournaments with a 2003 1st place win in the Balaton Tournament in Hungary, a 3rd place in Green Hill Cup, Pakistan and a 1st place in European Students Boxing championship, Italy. Yalçınkaya qualified for the 2004 Summer Olympics by ending up in second place at the 4th AIBA European 2004 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Baku, Azerbaijan. He competed at light-flyweight in Athens, Greece and won a silver medal for Turkey on August 29, 2004, by beating Italy's Alfonso Pinto and reigning world champion Sergey Kazakov of Russia. Jolly Katongole
Jolly Katongole (15 December 1985 – 14 May 2015) was a boxer from Uganda, who participated in the 2004 Summer Olympics for his native African country. Katongole debuted with the national team at the age of 16. He won the bronze medal at the 2003 All-Africa Games in Abuja, Nigeria. Katongole qualified for the Athens Olympics by winning the gold medal at the 1st AIBA African 2004 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Casablanca, Morocco. In the final of the event he defeated Morocco's Redouane Bouchtouk. Sergey Kazakov
Sergey Kazakov (born July 8, 1976) is a Russian amateur boxer best known for winning the World Championships 2003 and European Championships 1998, 2002 and 2004 in the Men's Light Flyweight. Kazakov won the European Championships in 1998. In 2000 he lost at the European Championships to Valeriy Sydorenko in the finals and at the Olympics 2000 against reigning world champ Brian Viloria (6:8) in the first round. In 2003 he won the World Championships with a close final victory against future star Zou Shiming (23:19). Alfonso Pinto (born 4 October 1978) is an Italian former amateur boxer. He won silver medals at the European Championships in 2004 and 2006, both at light flyweight.
