Astro Ceria is a 24-hour Malay-language television channel that is broadcast on the Astro satellite television service. This channel is dedicated to toddlers and children. It was launched on 31 August 2006, making it Malaysia's first-ever television channel dedicated to kids. ''Akademi Fantasia'' (commonly abbreviated as ''AF'') is Malaysia's first reality television show in which a number of contestants called students compete for the winning title and a chance to start their career in the entertainment industry. Astro Bella was a South American television channel by the Malaysian satellite provider Astro on channel 133. When it began broadcasting on 5 March 2012, the channel broadcast telenovelas, the first channel of its kind in Malaysia. The channel was broadcast on the channel number previously used B4U, a Bollywood movie channel. (Astro channel 133 was previously used by B4U, which ceased broadcasting on 5 March 2012). The channel was included in the network's Mustika package. The channel contain telenovelas from the Philippines, Mexico, Thailand, Vietnam, Latin America, Brazil, Portugal, Greece, Poland, Spain, Arabia and Italy. Maya HD
Astro Maya HD was a channel on Malaysia's satellite television Astro and began broadcasting on 24 June 2013, the second Malay high-definition channel launched by Astro after Astro Mustika HD. When it was launched, it broadcast content from five of Astro's Malay channels such as Astro Ria, Astro Prima, Astro Oasis, Astro Ceria and Astro TVIQ. The content of Astro Ria were moved to its own HD channel when it began broadcasting on 29 May 2015. On the same day, NJOI customers are able to watch Maya HD in conjunction of 1 million customers celebration. Astro Mustika HD was a television channel by the Malaysian satellite provider Astro. It was the first in-house channel by Astro for telenovelas, movies, specials, telemovie & reality in High Definition in Malaysia. Astro Mustika HD was included in the network's Mustika Pack. When it launched on 21 May 2012 , it broadcast original programs and contents from almost all of Astro's Malay channels, but programs from channels such as Astro Ria, Astro Prima and most other channels were moved to Astro Maya HD when it launched on 24 June 2013. Astro Warna is a 24-hour Malaysian television network in Malaysia. Launch On 1 June 2009, this channel airs local and international comedy programs. It is broadcast on the Astro satellite television platform as part of the Mustika Pack via Channel 132. Before launching Astro Warna, all local comedy programs were shown on either Astro Ria or Astro Prima. Astro Ria is a 24-hour Southeast Asia Bahasa Malaysia television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite television provider. It was one of the first 22 channels to be launched on Astro in 1996.
