Askar Khan Babu
Askar Khan Babu (; born 16 December 1974) is a Bangladeshi football coach and former player. Early life Askar Khan Babu was born on 16 December 1974 in Dohazari municipality of Chandanaish Upazila of Chittagong District. Askar is the fifth oldest among ten siblings, with all four of his brothers playing divisionally in both Chittagong and Dhaka. He completed his SSC from Dohazari Jamizuri A. Rahman High School in 1990, and eventually gained admission to Rangunia College. He began his football career in 1988, by playing in the Chittagong Metropolitan Youth League. He then joined Abahani Youth Team and in 1990 made his Chittagong First Division League debut with Chittagong Abahani. Club career In Dhaka, Askar trained under Nazrul Islam Ledu, and helped Fakirerpool YMC win gain promotion to the Premier Division as champions of the 1993 First Division. Dohazari
Dohazari is a municipal area in southeast Bangladesh. It is in Dohazari municipality of Chandanaish Upazila, Chittagong District. History The Mughal Subahdar Shaista Khan expelled the Arakanese from Chittagong in 1666 and established Mughal rule. After the Arakanese expulsion, Islamabad as the area came to be known, made great strides in economic progress. In 1666, Buzurg Umed Khan the son of the Subahdar Shaistha Khan led the invasion of the Mughal army as chief of the campaign to expel the Arakanese.In this invasion against the Arakanese, there were thirteen Mughal army commanders, consists of both Mansabdars and Army Generals. They invaded Chittagong and won a vast territory starting from modern day Feni to Cox's Bazar. Dhaka Senior Division Football League (), or the First Division Football League, is the third tier association football, football league in Bangladesh. Arambagh Krira Sangha is a Bangladeshi sports club based in Dhaka, that competes in the Bangladesh Championship League, the second-tier of football in Bangladesh. History Arambagh Krira Sangha were formed in Dhaka way back in 1958. Originally established as a football club, Arambagh later added handball, basketball and volleyball in their roster. However, they became the first club from Bangladesh who played in final in an international club tournament during 1981 ANFA Cup, hosted by Nepal. Otto Martin Pfister (born 24 November 1937) is a German former football manager and one of Germany's most successful coaching exports, voted Africa's ''Manager of the Year'' in 1992. He is formerly the manager of the Afghanistan national team. Coaching career Pfister has been involved in association football for almost 60 years, he began his coaching career in Switzerland as player-coach in 1961 at the age of just 23. Pfister's early coaching experience was gained with FC Vaduz, FC St. Gallen, FC Nordstern Basel, FC Moutier and finally FC Chur 97. The Bangladesh national football team () is the national recognised football team of Bangladesh and is controlled by the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF). It is a member of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) since 1973 and of FIFA since 1976, even though the Bangladesh Football Federation was first founded in 1972. The 2000 National Football League was the inaugural season of the country's first football league held on a national scale. The league was also known as the Nitol-Tata National Football League due to sponsorship reasons. The league included the top three finishing clubs from the 1999 season of the country's top-tier football league at the time, the Dhaka Premier Division League.
