''As Quatro Estações'' () is the fourth studio album by the Brazilian rock band Legião Urbana. It was released on October 26, 1989. It is Legião Urbana's first release without bassist Renato Rocha, who was fired from the band prior to the album's recording sessions due to his lack of commitment to the group. With over 1,9 million copies sold (730,000 in its first year), it is the band's most commercially successful album, and it was certified platinum by ABPD Six of its eleven songs enjoyed good radio airplay. Background and production Renato Rocha's departure Legião Urbana returned to the studio when they were about to achieve a million sold albums, when the commercial performance of all three previous albums were combined. Legião Urbana
Legião Urbana (Portuguese for Urban Legion) was a Brazilian rock band formed in 1982 in Brasília, Federal District (Brazil), Distrito Federal. The band primarily consisted of Renato Russo (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards), Dado Villa-Lobos (guitar), Renato Rocha (bassist), Renato Rocha (bass), and Marcelo Bonfá (drums, keyboards). Rocha left the band in 1989, and the band continued as a trio until their disbandment, with Russo becoming the band's ''de facto'' bassist after Rocha's departure. Following Rocha's death in 2015, Villa-Lobos and Bonfá are the last surviving members of the band's principal lineup. Paulinho Moska
Paulo Corrêa de Araujo, also known as Moska or Paulinho Moska (born 27 August 1967, in Rio de Janeiro), is a Brazilian singer, composer and actor. He started to play the classical guitar when he was 13 years old, with friends. He graduated in theater and cinema from CAL ( Casa de Artes de Laranjeiras), in Rio. He was a member of the band Garganta Profunda, that sang types of songs from Beatles and Tom Jobim to medieval operas. Revell GmbH is an American-origin manufacturer of plastic model, plastic scale models, currently based in Bünde, Germany. The original Revell company merged with Monogram (company), Monogram in 1986, becoming "Revell-Monogram". Millôr Fernandes
Millôr Fernandes (August 16, 1923 – March 27, 2012) was a Brazilian writer, journalist, cartoonist, humorist and playwright. Born Milton Viola Fernandes, his birth was registered on May 27, 1924; the handwriting on his birth certificate rendered the name "Millôr", which he adopted as his official name. He was born in Rio de Janeiro, and started his journalistic career in 1938, publishing in several Brazilian magazines, such as O Cruzeiro and A Cigarra Millor was known by his ironic humor, and was the author of thousands of satirical aphorisms. "Índios" is a song composed by Renato Russo, released in 1986 on the '' Dois'' album by Legião Urbana and also released as the third single from the album in December the same year. A live version was also released in 2001 as a single from the live album '' Como é Que Se Diz Eu te Amo''. The song's title includes quotation marks. According to Russo, they are used to indicate that the title does not refer to Brazil's first inhabitants, but to the innocence instilled in the country's people since its beginnings, with them always being fooled by their leaders.
