Neufchâteau, Vosges
Neufchâteau ( or ) is a commune in the Vosges department in Grand Est in northeastern France. On 1 January 2025, the former commune of Rollainville was merged into Neufchâteau. Geography Positioned at the confluence of the rivers Meuse and Mouzon, the little town dominates the Vosges Plain. It is at the centre of the various communications channels in the south-west of Grand Est, connecting with the '' région'' of Champagne to the west. The A31 Autoroute loops around the east side of Neufchâteau, approximately away at its closest point. Four junctions are available according to subsequent destination, these being numbered 8.1, 9, 10 and 11 and being located respectively at Robécourt, Bulgnéville, Châtenois and Colombey-les-Belles. Baudricourt
Baudricourt () is a commune in the Vosges department in Grand Est in northeastern France. Baudricourt is on the Cochon river, a left tributary of the Val d'Arol. History Baudricourt, Église Saint-Remy.The name Baldrici curtis is attested as early as the 10th century. The erection of the marquisate of Baudricourt in 1719 had the effect of changing the name of the village which was called Saint-Menge until 1766. In July 1767 letters patent of Louis XV allowed that the name of Bassompierre be attributed to the seigniory of Baudricourt. Finally, (after the French Revolution the municipality takes again its current name in 1790. Baudricourt belonged to the bailliage of Mirecourt.
