Armenia

He has coached grandmaster Robert Aghasaryan, and was also the coach of the Armenian team that won the 37th Chess Olympiad in 2006 and 38th Chess Olympiad in 2008. In July 2010, he won the Dortmund Open with a score of 7/9. In September 2019, he became head of a new chess school that opened in the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Yerevan. Sergei Movsesian
Sergei Musheghi Movsesian (; born 3 November 1978) is an Armenian chess player. He was awarded the title Grandmaster by FIDE in 1997. He was a member of the gold medal-winning Armenian team at the 2011 World Team Chess Championship in Ningbo. Movsesian played for the Czech Republic for most of his career. Later he represented Slovakia, which offered him citizenship. On December 30, 2010 Movsesian started to represent his ancestral country of Armenia. Career In 1998 Movsesian won the Czech Chess Championship. In 1999, he reached the quarterfinals of the FIDE World Chess Championship, held in Las Vegas, and lost to Vladimir Akopian by a score of 1½–2½. Artashes Minasian (also Transliteration, transliterated as ''Minasyan''; ; born 21 January 1967) is an Armenian Grandmaster (chess), chess grandmaster. He tied for first in the 1991 USSR Chess Championship and is a six-time Armenian Chess Championship, Armenian Chess Champion. Chess career He participated in eight Chess Olympiads with a record of +23 −12 =28. In 2006 the Armenian team took the first place at the 37th Chess Olympiad. Along with himself, the team consisted of Levon Aronian, Vladimir Akopian, Karen Asrian, Smbat Lputian, Gabriel Sargissian).
