Ari Gold (filmmaker)
Ari Gold (born 1970) is an American filmmaker, and musician. His short film ''Helicopter'' was about the aftermath of his mother Melissa Dilworth Gold's 1991 death. His feature debut ''Adventures of Power'' premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival and made its European debut at the 2008 Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. Early life Ari Gold was born in 1970 as son of writer Herbert Gold and Melissa Gold (née Dilworth) in San Francisco, California. Herbert Gold
Herbert Gold (born March 9, 1924) is an American novelist. Early life Gold was born on March 9, 1924 in Cleveland, Ohio, in to a Russian Jewish family. 1991 Vallejo Helicopter Crash
On October 25, 1991, a Bell 206 carrying rock music concert promoter Bill Graham, his girlfriend Melissa Gold, and pilot Steve Kahn crashed into a transmission tower west of Vallejo, California, killing everyone on board. The cause of the accident was determined to be the pilot's intentional flight into known adverse weather conditions.
