Cienfuegos (), capital of Cienfuegos Province, is a city on the southern coast of Cuba. It is located about from Havana and has a population of 178,368 in 2022. Ariel Pedro Martinez González (born 9 May 1986) is a Cuban Football player, footballer. Club career Following his List of Cuban football players who have defected to the United States, defection from Cuba to the United States in July 2015, Martínez signed with United Soccer League club Charleston Battery, but was not cleared to play until late in the season due to issues with the processing of his documentation and work permit.
