Arabela Language
Arabela is a nearly extinct Indigenous peoples of the Americas, indigenous American language of the Zaparoan family spoken in two Peruvian villages in tropical forest along the Napo tributary of the Arabela river. Also known as Chiripuno and Chiripunu, it is spoken by fewer than 50 people out of an ethnic population of about 400. Since there are so few speakers of Arabela left, its speakers speak either Spanish language, Spanish or Quechua language, Quechua as a second language. The literacy rate for Arabela as a first language is about 10–30%, and about 50–75% for a second language. It uses a subject–object–verb, SOV word order. Like all native languages in Peru, it has an official language, official status in areas where it is spoken. Arabela (sometimes Arabela the Princess, or A Tale of the Magic Ring) was a children's television series produced in Czechoslovakia which aired from 1979 to 1981. The series has 13 episodes and is in Czech language, Czech and German language, German. Production Because of Jana Nagyová (actress), Jana Nagyová's distinct accent, which was deemed too hard for children to properly understand, the actual voice of Arabela was provided by Libuše Šafránková. Nagyová and Dagmar Patrasová (Xenie) had also a joint performance in the crime drama ''Smrt stopařek'' (lit.: "Killing Hitchhikers", 1979) directed by Jindřich Polák, who is better known for his creation of the children TV's character ''Pan Tau''. Erbil (, ; , ), also called Hawler (, ), is the capital and most populated city in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The city is the capital of the Erbil Governorate.
