The Anyang Jung Kwan Jang Red Boosters () is a professional basketball club in the Korean Basketball League, based at Anyang Gymnasium in the city of Anyang. The club has won four KBL championship titles ( 2011–12, 2016–17, 2020–21, and 2022–23). The Korean Basketball League () or simply KBL is a professional men's basketball league in South Korea which was established in 1997. The league consists of ten teams and each team plays a total of 54 games (27 home and 27 away) in the regular season. History The Korean Basketball League was established in 1997. Jung Jae-kun
Jung Jae-kun (born 23 July 1969) is a South Korean retired basketball player. His playing career spanned thirteen years and coincided with the founding of the all-professional Korean Basketball League. Possessing the ability and skillset to play as either a center or a forward, he is credited with paving the way for the "center-forward" swingman to succeed in domestic basketball during an era where such players were often viewed as being strategically difficult to fit into the team's tactics. Lee Jung-hyun (born March 3, 1987) is a South Korean professional basketball player for Jeonju KCC Egis in the Korean Basketball League and the South Korean national team. Early life Lee played baseball and football throughout elementary school. A promising football prospect, he had considered becoming a professional football player. Park Chan-hee (born April 17, 1987) is a South Korean basketball Coach for Goyang Sono Skygunners. Early life Park grew up in Yeosu and moved to Seoul after his father got a job in Incheon. Kim Tae-sul
Kim Tae-sul (; born August 13, 1984) is a South Korean basketball coach. During his fourteen-year professional career, Kim played for five different teams, the longest stint being at Anyang KGC where he won the KBL Championship. He was also a member of the South Korea national team and participated in the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship, 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup and two Asian Games. Oh Se-keun (born 20 May 1987) is a South Korean professional basketball player who plays for Anyang KGC in the Korean Basketball League. Once a mainstay of the South Korean national team, he was a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2014 Asian Games. Anyang Sports Complex () is a group of sports facilities in Anyang, Gyeonggi, South Korea. The complex consists of Anyang Stadium, Anyang Gymnasium, a swimming pool, an ice rink, a tennis court, and an auxiliary stadium.
