Antti Heikkilä (born October 30, 1943, in Pori, Finland) is a Finnish former hockey player and hockey influencer. During his active career, he played as a defender. Antti Heikkilä and his brother, Lasse, have been important influences in the development of ice hockey in the city of Pori. Heikkilä played the 1966 World Ice Hockey Championships for Finland. Lasse Heikkilä (born May 27, 1934) is a retired professional ice hockey player and coach as well as football player. Heikkilä played for the Porin Karhut in the SM-sarja and coached the Porin Ässät in the SM-liiga. In football, Heikkilä represented the Porin Karhut and TPS Turku. The 1966 Ice Hockey World Championships was the 33rd edition of the Ice Hockey World Championships. The tournament was held in Hala Tivoli, Ljubljana, SR Slovenia, SFR Yugoslavia from 3 to 14 March 1966. For the fourth straight year, the Soviet Union won the tournament. For the Soviets, it was their sixth World and tenth European title.
