Antoñete
Antonio Chenel Albadalejo (; 24 June 1932 – 22 October 2011), professionally and popularly known as Antoñete (), was a Spanish bullfighter. His family had no background in bullfighting beyond Antoñete's father having been a ''monosabio'' (a picador's assistant). Antoñete himself explained that his maternal surname should really be Albaladejo, rather than Albadalejo. The transposition of two of the letters in this name arose from bureaucratic carelessness when his Documento Nacional de Identidad (Spain), National Identity Document was issued. Early life Born in Madrid, right near Spain's foremost bullring, Las Ventas, Antoñete spent the Spanish Civil War in the country's east once the Spanish mint (facility), mint had transferred its operations to Valencia; his father was a mint employee. The family later moved to Castellón de la Plana, also on the Costa del Azahar and, once the fighting was over, to Alicante. They moved back to Madrid in 1940 when Antoñete was eight yea ...

Bone Decalcification
Bone decalcification is the softening of bones due to the removal of calcium ions, and can be performed as a histological technique to study bones and extract DNA. This process also occurs naturally during bone development and growth, and when uninhibited, can cause diseases such as osteomalacia. Histology Since calcium-rich bones are exceedingly difficult to study, scientists use bone decalcification to make specimens available for their research. For example, bone decalcification has been used to examine cartilage and magnesium levels in order to understand bone decay. There are two categories of decalcifying agents for removing calcium ions: chelating agents and acids. The acids are further divided into weak (picric, acetic and formic acid) and strong acids (nitric and hydrochloric acid). The acids help produce a solution of calcium ions while the chelating agents take up the calcium ions. The most frequently used chelating agent is Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). Decal ...

Alternativa (bullfighting)
The ''alternativa'' ("alternative"), in Spanish-style bullfighting, is the act by which a ''novillero'' is authorized to be considered a ''torero'', so that he can alternate in bullfighting with other bullfighters of the same category, both in bullfighting on foot and on horseback. From the point of view of anthropology, it can be considered that taking the ''alternativa'' is a rite of passage or transition in which the bullfighter completes one stage of his formation to start another in which he becomes a professional matador of bulls. This change becomes effective with the ritual or ceremony of the ''alternativa'' and in the symbolism of the presentation of the bullfighter in society, in which he dons the ''traje de luces The ('suit of lights') is the traditional clothing that Spanish bullfighters (, , and ) wear in the bullring. Traje De Luces
The ('suit of lights') is the traditional clothing that Spanish bullfighters (, , and ) wear in the bullring. The term originates from the sequins and reflective threads of gold or silver. These are based on the flamboyant costumes of the 18th-century dandies and showmen involved in bullfighting, which later became exclusive to the bullfighting ritual. Later adornments include the hat, more elaborate embroidery, and decorative accessories. Getting "dressed to kill" constitutes a ceremonious ritual by itself: the matador is attended by a squire () who helps him to get dressed, often according to a "lucky" ritual in the privacy of a hotel room. Components of the for a may include: * : the hat that the bullfighter and his assistants (subalterns) wear.
