Antonio Torres Pérez
Antonio Torres Rodriguez born in Cidra, Puerto Rico is a Puerto Rican comedian better known as Pancholo. He has also worked as an animator, writer, and producer. Career The beginnings in show-business of Antonio Torres Pérez, known in the artistic slang as "Pancholo", go back to 1961, when the Cuban Organizer Osvaldo Agüero provided him the opportunity to act permanently in his "Festival of nudges" show that the old channel 11, the child company of WLII-DT, Telecadena Pérez Perry. His first creation was 'Pepe Bolillo' character, who is identified with the phrase "which sentences check them in his pocket". Torres and Cuban comedian Abel Barrios created the couple known as Pancholo y Bachiller maintaining a segment in El Show del Mediodía in which they commented on political and social developments abroad for 1968. Cidra () is a Cidra barrio-pueblo, town and Municipalities of Puerto Rico, municipality of Puerto Rico located in the central region of the island, north of Cayey, Puerto Rico, Cayey; south of Comerío, Puerto Rico, Comerío and Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, Aguas Buenas; east of Aibonito, Puerto Rico, Aibonito and Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, Barranquitas; and west of Caguas, Puerto Rico, Caguas. Héctor Marcano (born November 3, 1956) is a Puerto Rican producer, host, actor, and comedian. Marcano is also an owner of low-power television station WWXY-LD Channel 17. Hector Marcano currently serves as Vice President of Hispanic Operations East, for iHeartMedia. Marcano works with iHeartMedia's Hispanic radio stations, with a special focus in the Miami, Chicago, Orlando, and Atlanta markets. Early years Héctor Marcano was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Joaquín Monserrat Llarden, known as Pacheco (5 April 1921 - 5 November 1996) was a Spanish comedian and Television presenter, host of children programs. In 1960, he moved to Puerto Rico and he became a popular host of children programs. Biography Joaquín Monserrat was born on 5 April 1921 in Barcelona. In 1951, he moved to Havana, Cuba, where he worked as a comedian for nine years in CMQ Television. It was in Cuba that he met and befriended a local actor named Luis Aguad Jorge, who would later join him many times on Puerto Rican television as ''El enanito Holsum''.
