Antonio Rodríguez Aguirre (born 8 October 1951) is a Cuban former volleyball player who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 1976 Summer Olympics The 1976 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XXI Olympiad () and officially branded as Montreal 1976 (), were an international multi-sport event held from July 17 to August 1, 1976, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Montreal .... In 1972, Rodríguez was part of the Cuban team that finished tenth in the Olympic tournament in Munich. He played four matches. Four years later, Rodríguez won the bronze medal with the Cuban team in the 1976 Olympic tournament in Montreal. He played all six matches. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the program at the Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics. The adapted version of volleyball at the Summer Paralympic Games is sitting volleyball.
