Antonio García Prieto
Jose Antonio García Prieto (born 16 October 1964 in San Salvador, El Salvador) is a retired Salvadoran football player and current coach of Titán. Playing career Club Prieto started his professional career at Once Municipal for two years, before he joined historical club Alianza F.C. where he played the majority of career, he was part of the team that conquered 1986-87 title. He ended his career at A.D. Isidro Metapan. Managerial career After retiring from professional football, Prieto was appointed manager of Titán in 2008. He briefly joined FAS as assistant manager before returning to Titán in 2010. 2015–16 Primera División De Fútbol Profesional Season
The 2015–16 Primera División de Fútbol Profesional season (also known as the Liga Pepsi) is the 18th season and 35th and 36th tournament of El Salvador's Primera División since its establishment of an Apertura and Clausura format. Isidro Metapán and Santa Tecla were the defending champions of the Apertura and Clausura, respectively. The league will consist of 12 teams. There will be two seasons conducted under identical rules, with each team playing a home and away game against the other clubs for a total of 22 games per tournament. At the end of each half-season tournament, the top 8 teams in that tournament's regular season standings will take part in the playoffs. The champions of Apertura and Clausura will both qualify for the 2016–17 CONCACAF Champions League. The Tercera Division de Fútbol Salvadoreño, commonly known as Tercera División, and officially known as Electrolit Tercera División for sponsorship reasons, is the men's third professional association football division of the Salvadoran football league system. Administered by Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, it is contested by 23 teams, with the top two teams plus the winner of a play-off promoted to Segunda division and replaced by the three lowest-placed teams in that division. The 1986–87 Primera División de Fútbol Profesional season is the 36th tournament of El Salvador's Primera División since its establishment of the National League system in 1948. The tournament was scheduled to end in December 1986. On October 10, a 5.7 Earthquake struck San Salvador. The league postponed many games and the final round finally ended in February 1987. At the end of the regular season, the top four teams took part in the final group stage. Club Deportivo Juventud Independiente, also commonly known as Juventud Independiente, is a professional Salvadoran football club, based in San Juan Opico, La Libertad, El Salvador.
