Antonio Garay
Antonio Garay Jr. (born November 30, 1979) is an American former professional football nose tackle. He was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the sixth round of the 2003 NFL draft. He played college football and wrestled at Boston College. He was an NCAA wrestling All-American his sophomore year, placing 4th at the NCAA Championships while at Boston College. Garay was also a member of the Chicago Bears, San Diego Chargers, and New York Jets. He is notable for his outrageous hairstyles and for driving a Hello Kitty-themed smart car. A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that typically lines up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the Guard (American football), offensive guards; however, he may also line up opposite one of the offensive Tackle (gridiron football position), tackles. Defensive tackles are typically the largest and strongest of the defensive players. Depending on a team's defensive scheme, a defensive tackle may be called upon to fill several different roles. These may include merely holding the point of attack by refusing to be moved, or penetrating a certain gap between offensive linemen to break up a play in the opponent's backfield. ''Jewish Sports Review'' (JSR) was a bi-monthly magazine that operated from 1997 to 2022. Its editors were Ephraim Moxson and Shel Wallman. The magazine identified Jewish athletes, including professionals, college players, athletes in international competition, and selected high school athletes. History From 1972 to 1974, Shel Wallman published an early version of what became the ''Jewish Sports Review'', then for 20 years in his weekly column for a Jewish newspaper in Indianapolis.
