Anton Csorich
Anton Csorich (; 1795–1864) was a Croatian nobleman and general in the Habsburg monarchy imperial army service. He was titled ''baron of Monte Creto'' and promoted to the position of lieutenant field marshal when he became the second chief of the 15th Infantry Regiment. In that position he took part in the suppression of the October 1848 uprising in Vienna. He then went on to participate in the Austrian war against the Hungarian State in 1849. He was also a holder of the Knight's Cross of the Military Order of Maria Theresa. Karlovac () is a city in central Croatia. In the 2021 census, its population was 49,377. Karlovac is the administrative centre of Karlovac County. Andreas Karaczay
Andreas Karaczay de Vályeszáka or Andreas Karaiczay de Wallje Szaka or András Karacsaj de Válje-Szaka (Croatian: Andrija Karadžić; Serbian: Андрија Караџић; 30 November 1744 – 22 March 1808) served in the Austrian army beginning in the Seven Years' War. In 1788–90, he fought in the Austro-Turkish War at Khotyn, Valea Seacă, Focșani, and Rymnik. In 1789 he was promoted to general officer, appointed Proprietor (Inhaber) of an Austrian cavalry regiment, and became a friend to the famous Russian General Alexander Suvorov. He fought in the French Revolutionary Wars until 1795 when he retired because of " war fatigue". Suvorov recalled him to action in 1799 when he fought at the Trebbia, Alessandria, and Novi. He led the Austrians at Second Novi. After being badly wounded at Stockach in 1800, he retired from his military offices in 1801. Paul Davidovich
Baron Paul Davidovich or Pavle Davidović ( sr-Cyrl, Павле Давидовић) (1737, Buda – 18 February 1814, Komárom) became a general of the Austrian Empire and a Knight of the Military Order of Maria Theresa. He played a major role in the 1796 Italian campaign during the French Revolutionary Wars, leading corps-sized commands in the fighting against the French army led by Napoleon Bonaparte. He led troops during the Napoleonic Wars and was Proprietor (Inhaber) of an Austrian infantry regiment. Early career Born in Buda (Ofen) (in modern-day Budapest, Hungary) in 1737, Davidovich came from a Serb family which had immigrated to the Austrian Empire from the Ottoman Empire at the time of Emperor Leopold I. Franjo Vlašić
Franjo baron Vlašić (Austrian: Franz Vlassits; Hungarian: Vlassich Ferenc; 24 April 1766 – 16 May 1840) was a Croats, Croatian general and ban (title), ban of Croatia between 1832 and 1840. He began his military career in 1784. Vlašić obtained the rank of general in 1813. In 1831 he was appointed as military commander in Petrovaradin. Serbs in Petrovaradin considered General Vlašić one of their own. He became a ban on 10 February 1832. He resisted the Magyarization of Croatia, especially the teaching of Hungarian language, Hungarian in schools. During his rule the Croatian Romantic nationalism, national revival began with the Illyrian Movement. Following his death, he was succeeded by Juraj Haulik as acting ban.
