Anthony Asbury
Anthony Asbury (born September 14, 1959) is an American actor and puppeteer. He has been working as a puppeteer for over three decades. Career Asbury, a native of Arlington, Texas, began his career as a puppeteer on the ITV satire show ''Spitting Image'', where he performed a majority of characters between 1984 and 1992, these included voicing several of the characters including Pope John Paul II, John McEnroe, and Edwin Meese, together with Steve Nallon he was the puppeteer for Margaret Thatcher from the second season. It was on Spitting Image that he met Louise Gold, who introduced Asbury to Jim Henson, who at the time was currently in the proceeds of production for ''Labyrinth''. Henson invited Asbury to perform some of the creatures for the film, he was the puppeteer for Firey 5, One of the Four Guards, Right Door Knocker. Round The Bend
''Round the Bend!'' is a satirical British children's television series, which ran on Children's ITV for three series from January 6, 1989, to May 7, 1991. The programme was produced by Hat Trick Productions for Yorkshire Television. After its first run concluded, it was later repeated on Channel 4, The Children's Channel and Nickelodeon UK (the "Yorkshire Television Production" and "A Yorkshire Television Production for ITV" company logos were also removed from the end of the episodes in each case, and they would just fade to black where they originally were), and was nominated for an RTS Award. The programme was created by the team behind the comic book magazine '' Oink!'' (Patrick Gallagher, Tony Husband, and Mark Rodgers). The puppets, animated characters and main sewer set were designed by Gallagher, who was also the programme's graphic designer. ''Noddy'' (known as ''Noddy in Toyland'' and ''The Noddy Shop'') is a Canadian live-action/animated children's television series based on Enid Blyton's children's book series of the same name featuring the animated episodes from '' Noddy's Toyland Adventures''. The show was broadcast from 7 September 1998 to 11 December 1999 and broadcast on TVOntario and CBC Television in Canada. Premise The show starred Sean McCann as Noah Tomten, a former old salt, who now runs an antique shop in Littleton Falls, the NODDY Shop (this stood for "Notions, Oddities, Doodads and Delights of Yesterday"). His catchphrases included "What in tarnation?!" and "Great Neptune's Ghost!", usually whenever he was excited about something. Between The Lions
''Between the Lions'' is an American animated/live-action/puppet educational children's television series designed to promote reading. The show is a co-production between WGBH in Boston, Sirius Thinking, Ltd., in New York City, and Mississippi Public Broadcasting (the latter PBS station co-producing from 2005-2010) in Jackson, the distributor from seasons 1–10. The show won nine Daytime Emmy awards between 2001 and 2007. Although it is created by alumni of the fellow PBS children's show ''Sesame Street'' and featured guest appearances from some of its characters, ''Between the Lions'' was not created by Sesame Workshop, nor was it produced with their involvement in any way. The show premiered on PBS Kids on April 3, 2000, taking over the schedule slot held by '' The Puzzle Place'' upon its debut, and ended its original run on November 22, 2010.
