Annika Fríðheim Petersen
Annika Fríðheim Petersen (born 1 June 1999) is a Faroese handballer who plays for Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub in the Danish Women's Handball League and the Faroe Islands women's national team. She made her debut on the senior team of Nykøbing Falster Håndboldklub, on 13 February 2022. It was announced that she had signed a 3-year contract with the club, until the summer of 2024. She made her debut on the Faroese national team on 2 October 2019, against Romania and has been appearing for the team during the 2022 European Women's Handball Championship qualification cycle. Hoyvík
Hoyvík ( Danish: ''Højvig'') is a town in the Faroe Islands. It is part of the Tórshavn Municipality, and de facto is merged as a northern suburb of Tórshavn, the Faroese capital. History Hoyvík is believed to be a very old settlement. An early source is the ''Færeyinga saga'', a 13th-century recollection of earlier Viking oral recounts. Before the late 20th century the population was very low. Until the mid 19th century the entire population comprised one farm. A few more houses were built close to the farmland after the Second World War. A real development boom has been in Hoyvík since about the early 1980s. The new houses have been built on land that was formerly considered farmer outfields. The architecture of some of these newer houses include detached and terraced housing. Qualification system 32 teams registered for participation and competed for twelve places at the final tournament in two distinct qualification phases. The Romanian women's national team represents Romania in senior women's international handball and is controlled by the Romanian Handball Federation, the governing body for handball in Romania.
