Annemarie Verstappen
Anna Maria Theodora Petra "Annemarie" Verstappen (born 3 October 1965, in Rosmalen) is a female former freestyle swimmer from the Netherlands. Swimming career Verstappen won a total number of three medals at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States. In 1982, she became world champion in the 200 metres freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Ecuador. At the end of that same year, she was named Dutch Sportswoman of the Year. In July 1983, she broke the world record in the 50 m freestyle. Despite being of Dutch nationality she won the 200 metres medley title in 1981 at the ASA National British Championships. Personal life Her son Vincent Janssen is a professional football player. Cornelia "Conny" van Bentum (born 12 August 1965, in Barneveld) is a former butterfly and freestyle swimmer from the Netherlands. Bettine Vriesekoop
Hubertina Petronella Maria "Bettine" Vriesekoop (born 13 August 1961) is a former table tennis player from the Netherlands. She was European champion in 1982 and 1992 individually and in 1982 in mixed doubles. She competed at the 1988, 1992 and 1996 Olympics in singles and women doubles with the best achievement of seventh place in both events in 1988. Vriesekoop started playing table tennis in 1972, and between 1977 and 2002 played at top level in Europe. She won the European Championship twice and was a Dutch Champion fourteen times in the singles and sixteen times in the doubles. Until 1989 she worked with coach Gerard Bakker, and then worked with Jan Vlieg. Biography Vriesekoop was the youngest of nine siblings in a farmers family. The Dutch Sportsman and Sportswoman of the Year are chosen annually by Dutch athletes from a shortlist compiled by sports journalists. The elections are organized by the Dutch Olympic Committee. Vincent Janssen
Vincent Petrus Anna Sebastiaan Janssen (born 15 June 1994) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a striker for Belgian Pro League club Antwerp. He began his professional career in the Eerste Divisie with Almere City before playing in the Eredivisie with AZ Alkmaar in 2015–16, finishing as the league's top scorer. He then moved to Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League for a fee of £17 million, spending his second season on loan at Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Süper Lig. He spent three years in Liga MX with Monterrey, winning honours including the CONCACAF Champions League in 2021. He signed for Royal Antwerp in 2022, and won the Belgian Cup in his first season while scoring in the final. Janssen earned 22 caps for the Netherlands between 2016 and 2022, scoring seven goals.
