Anneli Björkling
Tuula Anneli Björkling (born 1952) is a Finnish model and beauty queen who won the Miss International 1973, 1973 Miss International pageant held at the Exposition Hall Fairgrounds in Osaka, Japan. Retrieved on 11 April 2008. She is the first Demographics of Finland, Finn to win the title. Björkling joined the Miss World 1972 pageant in London, United Kingdom, wherein she placed sixth. She is also the winner of the Miss Scandinavia 1973 contest, held in Tampere, Finland, in October 1972. Early life Galvan was born and raised in Port Lavaca, Texas, by parents David Bruce Smith and Belle Dunlap-Smith, and grandmother Adela Dunlap. Miss International (''Miss International Beauty'' or ''The International Beauty Pageant'') is a Japan-based international major beauty pageant organized by the International Culture Association. First held in 1960, it is the fourth largest pageant in the world in terms of the number of national winners participating in the international contest.
