Anne Ferris
Anne Ferris (born 24 September 1954) is an Irish Labour Party politician who served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Wicklow constituency from 2011 to 2016. She was a member of Bray Town Council from 1999 to 2009 and Wicklow County Council from 2003 to 2009. She was educated at St Agnes' Primary School in Crumlin, Dublin, and Goldenbridge Secondary School in Inchicore, Ferris holds a Diploma in Women's Studies from St Patrick's College, Maynooth St Patrick's Pontifical University, Maynooth (), is a pontifical Catholic university in the town of Maynooth near Dublin, Ireland Dublin is the capital and largest city of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. A Teachta Dála ( ; ; plural ), abbreviated as TD (plural ''TDanna'' in Irish language, Irish, TDs in English), is a member of Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas, the parliament of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The official English translation of the term is "Dáil Deputy". An equivalent position would be a Member of parliament, Member of Parliament (MP) in the UK or Member of Congress in the USA. Inchicore
Inchicore () is a suburb of Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ireland. Located approximately west of the city centre, Inchicore was originally a small village separate from Dublin. The village developed around Richmond Barracks (built 1810) and Inchicore railway works (built 1846), before being incorporated into the expanding city bounds. Inchicore is a largely residential area and is home to the association football club St Patrick's Athletic F.C., St Patrick's Athletic FC. History Inchicore grew from a small village near a marsh on the River Camac at ''Inse Chór '' or ''Inse Chaoire''. Wicklow County Council () is the local authority of County Wicklow, Ireland. As a county council, it is governed by the Local Government Act 2001.
