Anne Aaserud
Anne Aaserud (23 July 1942 – 14 February 2017) was a Norwegian art historian and museum director. Biography Anne Britt Aaserud studies art history at the University of Oslo and graduated mag.art. in 1993. She was assigned with the National Gallery of Norway from 1984 to 1994. From 1994 to 2008 she was director of the Northern Norway Art Museum in Tromsø. University Of Oslo
The University of Oslo (; ) is a public university, public research university located in Oslo, Norway. It is the List of oldest universities in continuous operation#Europe, oldest university in Norway. The National Gallery () is a gallery in Oslo, Norway. Since 2003 it is administratively a part of the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design. History It was established in 1842 following a parliamentary decision from 1836. Originally located in the Royal Palace, Oslo, it got its own museum building in 1882, designed by Heinrich Ernst and Adolf Schirmer. Northern Norway Art Museum
Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum is a Norwegian visual arts museum in Northern Norway. The Northern Norwegian Museum of Art is responsible for the entire northern region and in 2010 established a separate department for the nationwide program. History Established as a foundation in 1985, the Northern Norway Art Museum moved to its current location in Tromsø in 2001. The building was originally designed by architect Søren Andreas Wiese-Opsahl in 1917 to house post and telegraph offices. In 1967 the building was commissioned as a police station.
