Ankh Micholi
''Ankh Micholi'' (Hindi for "Hide and Seek") is a 1962 Bollywood film directed by Ravindra Dave and starring Mala Sinha in the lead role with Shekhar, S. Nazir, Jagdish Raj, Leela Mishra and Naazi in supporting roles. The film was distributed and produced by Varma Productions, an affiliate of Varma Films. ''Ankh Micholi'' marked the second time its filmmakers had cast Mala Sinha in a lead role after previously casting her in ''Main Nashe Mein Hoon'' (1959). Both ''Ankh Micholi'' and ''Main Nashe Mein Hoon'' are considered to be some of the most "memorable films" of Mala Sinha. Ravindra Dave
Ravindra Dave (16 April 1919 – 21 July 1992) was an Indian film director, producer, editor and screenwriter. He directed more than 30 Hindi films in the 1950s and 1960s including several hits like ''Nagina'' (1951), '' Agra Road'' (1957), ''Post Box 999'' (1958), ''Satta Bazaar'' (1959), ''Dulha Dulhan'' (1964) and '' Raaz'' (1967). He turned to Gujarati cinema with his blockbuster ''Jesal Toral'' (1971) and directed more than 25 Gujarati films in the 1970s and 1980s. Early life Ravindra Dave was born on 16 April 1919 in Karachi, British India (modern day Pakistan) in a Brahmin family. His family belonged to Halvad (modern day Gujarat, India). Chitragupta (Sanskrit: चित्रगुप्त, 'rich in secrets' or 'hidden picture') is a Hindu deity assigned with the task of keeping complete records of the actions of human beings and punishing or rewarding them according to their karma. Geeta Dutt (born Geeta Ghosh Roy Chowdhuri; 23 November 1930 – 20 July 1972) was an Indian playback singer and a famous Hindi and Bengali classical artist, born in Faridpur before the Partition of India. Mukesh Chand Mathur (22 July 1923 – 27 August 1976), better known mononymously as Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. Mukesh is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed playback singers of the Hindi film industry. Asrar ul Hassan Khan (1 October 1919 − 24 May 2000), better known as Majrooh Sultanpuri, was an Indian Urdu poet and lyricist in India's Hindi language film industry. He wrote Hindustani lyrics for numerous Hindi film soundtracks. The ''Economic and Political Weekly'' (''EPW'') is a weekly peer-reviewed academic journal covering all social sciences, and is published by the Sameeksha Trust.
